Interdependent Urbanism Video

We have been conducting ongoing research on how computation can play a major role in successful urban design. As demonstrated in this summary video, parametrically conceived zoning can debunk the myth that there is an inverse relationship between density and the quality of our urban spaces. By simultaneously solving for the myriad of environmental and social factors that feedback into each other, this tool can aid designers, planners, and stakeholders in envisioning the complex interdependencies between urban design factors.
